Forever Seeking Red Blend

Forever Seeking Red Blend is a red wine blend from Portugal of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Trincadeira grapes, with a concentrated ruby color.

Wine Details

Description:
Forever Seeking red wine opens with a nose of blackberry compote, and follows with flavors of dark fruits and a hint of baking spice. It has a medium to full body, smooth tannins and a long velvety finish.

Alentejo, Portugal

Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Trincadeira

Winemaker:
This wine is from a multigenerational family-owned winery with a tradition of producing quality wines recognized throughout Portugal. The winemaker has experience working in a highly decorated Sonoma County winery known for its fruit forward wines.

Food Pairing:
Perfect to pair with wide ranges of meats and cheeses. Also very nice to taste with small dishes of “tapas” or just on its own.

Storage:
It should be stored at 53 - 56 degrees and stored horizontally in a dry, cool place.

Forever Seeking Loureiro Reserva

Forever Seeking Loureiro Reserva is a white wine from the Vinho Verde region of Portugal. It’s made of 100% Loureiro grapes, and has a crisp, pale yellow color.

Description:
Forever Seeking white wine opens with a nose of floral notes, followed by expansive white peach and citrus aromas, and a note of bay leaf. It is smooth and balanced. It has a light to medium body with crisp flavors of peach and yellow apple, and a refreshing finish.

Vinho Verde, Portugal

100% Loureiro

Winemaker:
This young, up-and-coming winemaker grew up on a family farm where winemaking has been a tradition stretching over generations. He apprenticed under one of the top winemakers in Portugal. His white wines have been recognized as some of the finest in Portugal.

Food Pairing:
This crisp and aromatic white wine pairs well with fish, seafood and Thai food. It also goes very well with simple grilled chicken or pork, or as an aperitif all by itself.

Storage:
It should be stored at 50 - 55 degrees and stored horizontally in a dry, cool place.

The Story Behind the Wine

Portugal has a long and proud winemaking tradition. It is home to one of the oldest AVA’s (regulated wine production regions) in the world: the Douro Valley. Even so, it is not well known for its table wines, since most of its wine exports have been in the form of Port wine. It is a sleeping giant of table wine production. Most of its grape varieties are unrecognized in the US; so, it can be intimidating. We will help Americans identify great wines at great prices from Portugal and beyond.

After multiple trips to Portugal, our team of tasters selected Forever Seeking after tasting hundreds of Portuguese wines. We believe it delivers what Americans are looking for in a great table wine…one for everyday drinking, for parties or for special occasions.

It is a wine that meets the highest level of quality as set by the Portuguese authorities, demonstrated by DOC on the label (Denominação de Origem Controlada).
